Sydney Klaiman

Sydney discovered the Farkas Center when she was a student at Mercy High School in San Francisco and was the Farkas Center’s first student board member. This afforded her the opportunity to meet many survivors, including Helen Farkas. Sydney also assisted the Farkas Center in planning Kristallnacht, Holocaust Remembrance Day and Courage and Spirit at Mercy High School. After college, Sydney became an educator and has returned to the Frakas Center as a teacher! She currently teaches 3rd grade at Notre Dame Elementary School.
